Exceptional
Amazing place to stay. Allowed me to check in early which meant I could go hiking on my first day with ease! Helped with the Appenzell Travel Card. Such helpful staff, great recommendations for dinner in their sister hotel for traditional food. Excellent breakfast with really good gluten free options.

Excellent stay and service. Breakfast was nice too!
Hotel was in great location. Short walk from train…maybe 5 minutes. Triple room was very spacious and fit the need for the one night we stayed. Would stay again!

very comfortable stay
I was late in arriving and villagers gave me directions where to park. It was fairly easy. The hotel is right downtown close to the central parking lot. Since I was late arriving the proprietor left my key on the front desk for me. The building is a bit confusing at first because of the setup , but very nice and comfortable

It was spotless clean big room . Staff friendly and helpful . And location super. Couple minute walk from the trainstation . Highly recommend 👌
Breakfast buffet could have some fresh vegetables .
