The staff were so kind to us and let us leave our bags at reception after checking out so we could explore the town before heading home on the evening train.

Staff receptionist was very helpful and friendly.
The room advertised Air Conditioning but there wasnt any in the hotel. The receptionist did provide a fan for the room though.

As there are just a few hotels in Wolfenbüttel, Elaya's location next to the train station and a shopping complex makes it one of the most convenient to reach. The room was clean and spacious, equipped with all the necessary amenities that a regular hotel should provide. Although I travelled by train, car drivers would appreciate the enormous parking lot (not sure whether it is free or not, though).
There is no 24-hour reception desk service, which may be a problem in case of an emergency. The hotel is located right next to the railway, with trains passing by every 30 minutes until midnight, as well as situated next to a large parking lot, which may result in noise levels being elevated in the late evening/night. The bathroom needs a renovation – I also did not like the artificial smell of the cosmetic products provided. The room cleaning was supposed to be offered every 3 days, but apparently, we missed it during our 4-night-long stay, which made it slightly uncomfortable. If you need to spend one or two nights in Wolfenbüttel, Elaya will do, but don't expect much.
