Really good hostel with excellent facilities such as kitchen with microwave ovens, fridges, electric stove, kettles and basic kitchen utensils. There was also a good common-area/lobby with TV and small library with storybooks, novels, board-games, etc. There was also washing machine and vacuum cleaner. The room was convenient for a family of four with children and beds were also good. It was close to the bus-stop and around 15 mins by walk from the central train-station. The area around the hostel was good for walking. The staff were helpful and breakfast was also quite good for the price of 100 SEK. Bathrooms were quite clean. Perfect for a stay in Kalmar during Spring or Summer.

Few minor things to improve: Add few more variety in breakfast.
Lighting in the room could be improved to make it more bright. The sauna was not working during our stay.

for the price at the hostel the stay was adequate. the room was cleaned recently. there was both shower and sauna near the room in the joint bathroom.
the beds were really hard. found some belongings from a former occupant in the mattress. too many chairs in such a small room. 4 chairs around a small table that took up much of the floorspace.
