the ambiente at breakfast was strange. i was sat alone in the main restaurant room with no lights on at the end of a long dining table, it had a real shining hotel vibe. Also, please cover the breakfast buffet. Everything was open and uncovered, other guests were coughing and sneezing. enough said.

Hotel was as expected - renovated socialist hotel very near the center of Gabrovo. Reception was 24/7, we arrived after midnight and we had no problem with the check-in.
Due to the location of the hotel and extremelly hot weather, the room we had was rather noisy - both from street traffic and AC termal pumps from other rooms. Also, older hotel have specific smell, I cannot describe it but it is a mix between cleaning agents and cigarete smoke from very long time ago. We moved the beds together and under one of them we found a hair band and some snacks :D
