Pleasant place to stay , helpful couple who run it but had difficulty when calling them , it said three times that they

Situated within a few minutes walk from the village . A nice old building , large bedroom with balcony

We found it very difficult to get onto the Wi-Fi but got help in the end . Drinks machine in the foyer was broken .

Milk, sugar and biscuits available for guests. Very quiet. Vending machine downstairs for coffee, soft drinks and nibbles. Easy parking.

I am truly struggling to find anything positive to say. The man at reception tried to be helpful but everything he had to say was quite negative.

Where do I begin? We had requested a quite room and were given room 1, right at the top of the stairs. Every single guest had to pass our door. There was no air conditioning and not even a fan so we had to open the patio doors but could not sleep because of the church bells chiming on the hour throughout the night and dogs barking all night. I know they do not have any control over these things but if they had at least had a fan we would not have had to open the door. The panel for the electricity made a loud humming noise so we had to switch of the supply and had to stumble about in the dark when we got up for the toilet. We chose the hotel because it had a swimming pool but when we got there we were told the pool was being repaired and was empty. The shower was dirty with mould round the shower tray. The pillows were like bags of cement! I could go on but really I think you get the picture. This place is well past it's sell by date and the people who run it seem to have given up.
