We paid €52 a night for 2 of us in mid September and having read the reviews, I was rather skeptical. But the hotel exceeded our expectations. If people have paid a similar price to us, I am really unsure what they are expecting for €26pppn. The staff were adequate and nice enough. We barely spent any time in the hotel as Skopelos really isn’t a place to just stay in the hotel, it’s an island for exploring. We used Rigas as a base to sleep. The location to Skopelos town is superb.
We had breakfast included in our price but we decided to eat out. It was a standard buffet but Greece is cheap enough to eat elsewhere.

The location is convenient, just a short walk (even with a suitcase) from the port. Also, the local bus stop is right next to it. I had a renovated room in front of the hotel and it was comfortable. The shower was super good. Breakfast was mediocre, but enough for me. Coffee was good though.
The room wasn't soundproof. You hear the traffic noise from the street outside and other guests being loud in the evening. Small bugs found in the room, but can't really help, when the room is in the ground floor.

The hotel is in a great location, only 5 to 10 minutes from the Port. The staff were accommodating and helpful.
I was put in a room at the back of the property which was very old, very dated and obviously hadn’t had work done to it for a while. The bathroom had limescale and was mouldy. The shower didn’t have a handle so I had to hold the shower head when I washed. This also meant water from the shower went through the tiles and into the bedroom, covering the floor in water and covering the exposed cables of the fridge. The fridge was randomly exposed and not in the cupboard as it should be, meaning it created a hazard when the water leaked from the bathroom as the water was next to the plug socket of the fridge. There was no storage, no cupboards or drawers in the room and, despite having a huge wardrobe, there were no hangers inside. I didn’t say anything as I was only there for a few days but found it odd I’d even have to ask for hangers in a double room with a double wardrobe. There was also no cups or glasses and no kettle in the room which, again, for a 3* star property I’d have expected. Overall really disappointing for a 3* hotel, especially as I had to pay for a two people room being a solo-traveller. I’d recommend they completely redecorate those rooms or at least give them some TLC.
