Situated in Porepunkah, this lovely house for $221 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This charming Alpine style house is situated in one of Bright's best streets. The house backs directly onto the Ovens River, less than 400m along a quiet riverside track via a bridge into town. Wake up in the morning and enjoy the sound of birds and the babbling river as you eat your breakfast on the large balcony that looks straight down to the river. The house has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open space living area of lounge, kitchen/dining. Perfectly suited for 2 families or 3 couples. Upstairs consists of a bathroom and two bedrooms, one with a queensize bed and private balcony overlooking the river and one with a double bed with a single bunk on top. Downstairs you will find 2 bedrooms, one with a single bunk bed and the other with a queen size bed and direct access to the large balcony and views of the river. There is also a fold out sofa bed in the lounge for the bigger groups. On the rear deck there is an heated outdoor 8 person spa which is an OPTIONAL extra charged at $140 per stay. Please note that we do have a 4 guest minimum for the weekends and school holiday periods.

We had a lovely weekend at Foxy's Den! It was our second time staying at Wendy's home and it did not disappoint. A few steps away from the beautiful Ovens River and a short stroll into town you can ask for a better location.

Foxes Den is very well appointed and so close to the centre of Bright, the kids loved riding their scooters along the paths to the splash park. We enjoyed chilling out on the deck in the beautiful surroundings by the Ovens river.

Foxes Den is well equipped, clean, spacious and ideal for families or groups who want to to be within walking distance of Bright CBD. The large outdoor spa was a hit with both kids and adults. Falling asleep to the faint noise of the river was lovely as was watching the many birds visit the large garden. Highly recommend.

Group of 6 and we had plenty of space! Beautiful location, walk into town, river across from the backyard & lovely Canyon Walk. Bright is a gorgeous town and we will be back for sure! Everything you need at the house. Bathrooms are small but that was fine and there are two which is a must have for a large group. Thank you for affordable and great accommodation

Had a ball at Foxes’ Den. The house was warm and beautifully clean, everything was easy to find and we were unpacked and settled in minutes. The boys loved their big triangle bedrooms upstairs and the Spa was a hit in the cold rain! The host helped us out with recommendations on restaurants and advice. It was a quick walk into town, good coffee, good food options and we spent days up the mountains in snow. Couldn’t have been better. Thank you

Such a great property. It was a freezing cold weekend and the place was cozy warm and had everything we could have wanted. The spa was fabulous as was the location to the river and the town. Will definitely stay again.

6 of us stayed at Foxes Den for 3 nights. it is in a lovely location with a view of the river, lovely river walks and within a short walking distance to the town. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen! instructions on how to turn on the oven should have been given. But it was quickly resolved. it was advertised that there was a room with 2 single beds but actually they were bunk beds. So there were 2 bedrooms with bunk beds. A bit difficult for us seniors. Apart from that it was really relaxing place -- with ample heating for autumn, good wifi and even Netflix. We had a great stay.

It was absolutely wonderful, we had the best 4 days. We visited many of the homes that my father built in the Ovens Valley from the 1960’s to the 80’s. My dad built this beautiful A Frame in the early 70’s, was so lovely the memories that it brought back. Family gatherings, cricket games in the back yard, lots of swimming in the river. Location is just the best, walking distance to everything. The house was well equipped for all that you needed. Peaceful, serene, just gorgeous. Thanks to Wendy for everything, we will be back to stay again.

Perfect accommodation for a getaway with lots of comfortable space for groups and families. Loved being able to sit outside and listen to the river flow past the backyard or take advantage of the location for a quick walk into town.

I would definitely hire this house again. It was in a perfect location. It was within walking distance to town centre, as well as Bright brewery and local pubs. We had beautiful views of the Ovens river which was flowing extremely fast because of all the recent rain. Spent a wonderful day with the little snow left on mount Buffalo. The walking tracks were great in either direction. Then coming back for a few hours soaking in the spa. I feel this place would be perfect in any season. I would say the only down side would be there wasn’t any outside heating. It would have been great to spend more time out on the deck at night. All in all this house and the position it’s in is great. My family and I enjoyed our stay there very much. Thank you Wendy for allowing us to stay at your house in Bright.
