We stayed 3 nights here and it was all excellent! The Archontiko is very centrally situated in Makrinitsa, a very short walking distance to the main square. K.Kiki and her team went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. K.Kiki shared her knowledge of local hiking routes - advising us that some routes have been damaged since the floods of 2023 and have not yet been rebuilt. The breakfasts were excellent and very generous with a spread of fresh fruit, yoghurt, eggs, bread and pastries and delicious pies and the yummiest local honey.

Perfectly located in Makrinitsa, within a very short walking distance to the rest of the village and the main square. The owner k.Kiki was most welcoming and helpful, checking in with us to make sure our hikes were going well and that we were ok. She helped to arrange a taxi for us from Volos and kept in contact with us once we left to make sure we arrived at our next destination. The breakfast was also amazing - fresh fruit, yoghurt, eggs, traditional spanakopita, delicious honey, breads and pastries - it was abundant, fresh and all delicious.
