Green Bungalows is a good budget option. Not brand new, but also not too old. Everything worked in the apartment - refrigerator, stove, lights, and especially the air conditioner in July. The room was also very quiet with the windows closed,. Very friendly and helpful manager and staff. I stayed for 2 months and they let me use it like a real apartment - washing your own towels and sheets, etc.
The bathroom was large and had hot water 24/7 for the entire 2 months. However, the room I was in had a small shower. I recommend taking a "navy shower." If you take a "Hollywood shower" the floor will be soaked.
I will definitely stay again if In Ayia Napa.

Staff all spoke fluent English, they were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms have AC and extremely comfy.
