Beautiful furniture and antiques in the lobby and other rooms downstairs. The rooms feel a bit small and bare but are good value for money. There’s no view from the room because they are all on the second floor (apartments above, I was told, although I didn’t see many other people) but it’s very quiet from street noise and I had a very good sleep when I was there. Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water. Nice stuff who I could communicate with fine in my intermediate Spanish. And the manager is fluent in English.
Some description on booking didn’t match the room I was originally offered but that’s typical in a lot of places. I asked to move to a room with a couch and they obliged.

Nice room with balcony, lovely pool. Friendly helpful staff, owner Gad will help you with most things, they go out of there way to make you feel welcome. Central downtown location, near the river and the bay.

The location in the historic center was perfect for doing the walking tour. I will stay there again when I return to Asuncion!
One morning the water did not work and I had to go to work without a shower.

Gentileza dos funcionários e a localização próxima a largada da corrida. A cordialidade em servir o café antes do horário para que os hóspedes que iam correr conseguirem se alimentar antes da prova.
Café da manhã foi decepcionante. Pouquíssima variedade, alimentos com gosto de velho, gordurosos. A porta principal do quarto estava emperrando e isso gerava dificuldade de acesso. Fiquei presa no banheiro porque a porta travou.
