Our stay at the Villa Donna Fausta was WONDERFUL!!! It was the perfect honeymoon location and we would stay there a thousand times over! Located in a beautiful small town with plenty of great restaurants and cafes. Just a bus ride away from the Amalfi Coast and a dozen other beautiful towns full of breath-taking views (Seriously, everywhere you look is like a painting in an art gallery). Donna Fausta is an exceptional host with years of experience. She and her staff exemplify hospitality. They (along with everyone else we met in town) were beyond helpful and acommodating. From helping us with rides, to navigating the town, gifting us bus tickets, to exchanging our dollars for euros when we were in a pinch- we are extremely grateful. We looked forward to eating breakfast and talking with sweet Maria every morning.
Know what you're looking for: If you want a lavish resort with room service dining and a dozen on-site entertainment options, this cozy villa isn't the place for you. But if you want a relaxing and comfortable get-away in a small Italian town full of kind and hardworking people, and you don't mind taking a walk or a short bus ride down the serene mountain side of the Amalfi coast for shopping and sight-seeing, then look no further. There is no better place to enjoy the good life with a romantic partner or friend.
NOTE: Learn the bus schedule as soon as possible and plan your itinerary accordingly, unless you're renting a car or don't mind shelling out for taxis. Highly recommend keeping a hundered or so euros handy when venturing out, just in case you need a taxi ride back. Taxi drivers will gladly give you their personal numbers for future rides. Train station can be reached by bus and used to get to places like Napoli, Rome, and Pompei. But navigating can be tricky so be prepared.

This was our favourite stay throughout our vacation. Donna Fausta and Maria are the sweetest and super helpful! They helped us plan out our days and gave us accurate information regarding busses, tours, ferries, etc. The room was very clean and had all the amenities you could ask for plus a stunning view of the coast. The wifi is brilliant, staff is superb, breakfast was delicious and the town is quiet, peaceful and has some of the nicest people weāve met in Italy. The town is extremely cost effective and just a short drive/bus away from Amalfi. 10/10

Everything was amazing! way higher than our expectations, the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in my life, the staff were the nicest and arranged everything for our trip so that nothing was missing for our best experience in the Amalfi Coast, and the facilities were so cozy and clean! everything was perfect!!

Everything was perfect from the location, breakfast amazing views. But the best thing was Donna Fausta and Maria, they were so lovely, welcoming and beautiful people who hosted us and helped us with every detail. I would recommend the villa for anyone looking to stay in and around the Amalfi area.

Donna and the villa itself were lovely and perfect for what we needed it for. it was a little bit of a walk from the nearest bus stop but we are young so that didnāt bother us. there was many restaurants nearby which Donna recommended and they were excellent.
the bed was slightly harder than we are used to. We chose to stay in Agerola as we thought it would be a good location to explore the Amalfi coast but the public transport is awful.

is simply such a wonderful, warm sweet and generous lady - beautiful from inside out as her villa.
Providing you not only with extensive comfort, professional local advice and a great laugh during your stay - but also truly an unforgettable country side Italian authentic Villa experience, we were amazed by the stunning views as well as so many other treasures this property has to offer.
The attention to detail is also
meticulous , this varies from the soft towels to everything being spotlessly cleaned every day - especially for OCD people like me that is perfect!!
in case of any note or question, rest assured Donna Fausta will go out of her way to help you out. Exceptional.
Moreover, the breakfast being provided is beyond what I have seen anywhere in Italy - from the eggs to to the prunes, to the tomatoes - everything is produced locally by them and one can taste the freshness in their produce and basically all the ingredients. The breakfast is rich while the options are vast and the choices are healthy as well, I swear it's better than these pictures even, which are already great! Also, Maria's services and cooking is absolutely delicious. Due occhio di bue per favore!!
What an absolute joy this has been - un sogno - would 100% advise this to all friends, family and colleagues who want to visit the Amalfi coast.
On a logistics note, Please bear in mind that the location Agerola is perfect as one can easily visit all cities the Amalfi coast has to offer (Positano, Sorrento etc.) as we did - with a rental car preferably. Thank god we stayed here!

First of all the hospitality of Donna Fausta and the villa design and decor. It makes us feel better then home. The breakfast was complete and good. It also has a view over the coast.
Is 5 min away from the bus station that takes you to Amalfi, close to a few good restaurants with good prices as well.

The staff is very very nice and very helpful with great recommandation, you really feel at home.
Parking is easy and free, the village is accessible and central on the coast and to Naples.
The sea view from the bedroom is exceptional and the breakfast is very good!

It was an absolutely amazing stay at the Villa Donna Fausta. The accommodation has a great view to the sea and we had a very warm and lovely welcome there. It is to mention that it is also perfect for āgluten-freeā persons. They are doing a tasty breakfast with everything what you need. My girlfriend and me are vegetarian and we had many different varietyās of food. For our trips to the Amalfi coast our host Fausta had every day tips and ideas for example what day drips we can do with local little secret places for going to the beach or for going out to have dinner. We would definitely go there again.

Villa Donna Fausta was the best stay! The breakfast was amazingāthey even provided gluten-free options when I let them know of an allergy! This is the perfect place for a homey stay while also being within public transportation access of the Amalfi Coast.

Unique authentic "cottage"-like B&B up in the mountains for a very quiet and quaint experience. Host is phenomenal who knows the town and the area very well with great suggestions to get around and where to eat. Breakfast was delicious including healthy options. Daily cleaning service and extra towels available upon request. The town itself is very quiet and quaint - truly a local experience. The staff are so nice. The room itself is comfortable and very clean with a well lit bathroom.
Nothing, the stay and the hostess were phenomenal.
Just advice, Less to do with the room itself, and more with the town, lots of mosquitoes, so make sure you close the screens and the bathroom door and maybe even put on non-DEET bug cream.

There is no AC in the rooms, although you can keep window open during the night as weather is more comfortable in Agerola.

I haven't enough words to describe this place. It is like a paradise! Very quiet and beautiful, with amazing views, local restaurants, and very friendly people. Every day I had great conversations with Donna Fausta and got exceptional service from Maria Tereza. Cleanness hit all my expectations! Breakfast consists of fresh local products, fruits, and homemade cakes. I felt the warmth of home at the Villa and was excited by the kindness and generosity of the host. Donna Fausta was very helpful, giving recommendations on where to go and what to see. We could easily get from there to Amalfi, Positano, and other places.

Not too close to the beach, but you have the option of mountain walks instead or in addition.

A nice hotel in the quaint village of Agerola the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There was a good selection at breakfast and the host helped organise buses and taxis for our time on the coast.
There is a bus stop around a 7-8 minute walk from the hotel that takes you down to Amalfi (40 minutes) and from there you can connect to another bus or ferry to take you on to Priano, Sorrento and Capri. Whilst it is perhaps not as convenient as staying in one of the coastal hotels, the price is far more appealing and the views are actually better looking down the valley!
Also very close to the Path of the Gods trail which we would recommend.
Not a criticism as it should be obvious when booked, but factor in around a 40 minute bus journey down to the coast. However, these are fairly frequent and a cheap way of getting around.

We only wanted to stay three nights and finally stayed 7 nights! If we come back to the beautiful Amalfi Coast, this wonderful place would for sure be our choice again! We room with balcony overlooking one of the nicest parts of the Amalfitana with a stunning view to the Norman Tower, Furore and Praiano. One of the most beautiful beaches āMarina di Praiaā is only 25 min. drive on a wonderful scenic route. Villa Donna Fausta also is situated nearly directly at the start of the Sentiero degli Dei which you should not miss as well. You can do the hole Amalfi Coast including Pompeji or Herculaneum from here and always come back to quietness of Bomerano and safe and comfortable parking right in front of the house. We will never forget Donna Fausta herself! She is for sure one of the most recognizable ladies we met and more than that a lovely person. We are so glad and honored to have had the pleasure to meet her. Not to forget: The āgood ghost of the houseā- Maria - She awaited us every morning with a -not only for Italian standards - delicious breakfast, with her unbeatable homade pastry and cakes and a lovely smile to get a good day started and reading your wishes before you even had them! You should as well follow Donna Faustaās restaurant recommendations and make sure not to miss the worldās best Pizza and the sumptuous Burger (with Mozzarella Cheese) at āCrazy Burgerā (10 min walk only). For a more romantic atmosphere with great food, the āCorte degli Deiā is close by! As you can see, we were just overwhelmed from our stay!
