Erkal Pension

I loved the location it’s was fabulous to be in the heart of the old town. The owner was a friendly and welcoming and so was all of his staff which are a credit to him. Coffee and water machine is a great touch in reception. The room was so clean and everything in the room all worked and it was great. I would certainly recommend this hotel to any traveller without a doubt. I will be returning back soon.

Excellent location and everything is close by

Location: perfectly located in the old town, which is filled with historical spots & 21st century amenities too. You wake up in the 21st century & as you walk through, you are transport back to ancient Byzantyne Roman empire. People come from all around the world to do the tour. Yet, staying at Erkal means you can experience it every day, at such a reasonable prices. Its a 3-5 minute walk to the high street, where you can find awesome transportation links. A wide variety of different shops, restaurants, gyms, supermarkets. There something for everyone in this area. The tram to the beach is with a 5 minute walk, and takes 15-18 minutes, costing less than £1 per trip. Great restaurants within a 1 minute walk, like the Sushi Bar. Next to the Sushi Bar you will find thelocal corner shop, friendly customer, always has cold drink & they all accept card too. After the corner shop you have the famous Luna Gardens, amazing restaurant, literally 1 minute walk from Erkal Panison. For me as a Muslim I love the fact the mosque is a 4 minute walk, when the call to prayer is called, it fills the area with a calm & soothing sound. ERKAL is the perfect place where religions, culture and different nationalities meet. You meet people from all parts of the world; Russia, all parts of Turkey, Uruguay, Somali, British, and Chinese and so much more. I for example meet with the same people I met in 2024, most if not all who stay there almost always return. Its the friendly atmosphere, and perfectly located Panison. In terms of service, you hand your clothes over in the morning, and receive them in the evening, all for less than £4 or less than €5. If you want your room clean, just ask in the morning, leave your key with them, and you return to a fresh room, including fresh towels & bedding I have been to Antalya 5 times in the past 7-8 years, and stayed in many hotels, hostels & Panisons, but why do I return to Erkal?

The only downside if there is one, is no lift. Unfortunately its not wheelchair accessible, other that. I can't say anything else but I will be returning again.

Good central location

The property was advertised as 45 sq meters with a television, a separate bedroom and a hall whereas in reality it was one single 20 sq meter room. It didn’t have shower gel or shampoo or a dustbin
