Great experience

Very clean and the location is awesome. Close to Goryu ski resort. Breakfast was OK, host lovely. Room was spacious, beds typically hard as japan seems to be but warm and comfortable enough. Outside of building very run down and a bit off-putting when u first arrive. Inside very rustic old school cabin vibe.

Was a bit noisy as there is no insulation and the whole building is timber and creaks when u walk. If u are looking for a refined resort then this place isnt for you. If you are there to enjoy winter sports and appreciate value for money then you will love it like us. The onsen is amazing. Certainly will be back!

Lovely, convenient and homey :)

We stayed in Canadian Village for 4 nights. The woman that ran it was kind and sweet and prepared an amazing breakfast (included) every morning. The room was enormous, and the heating was very effective. The free, private onsen was a huge plus! We used it daily! It was about a 12 min walk to Mt Goryu Escal Plaza but there was also a free shuttle stop 200m away. The train station to Hakuba was also a short walk. Underneath there is an amazing restaurant, and there is also several other options nearby. We loved our stay here :)

The wifi was a little patchy, and the floors were a little creaky. But this was not really an issue for us.

Great stay in a great spot , clean and cheerful would stay here again .

Location , private Onsen , good breakfast , lots of room.

Beds were very creaky. Twin bed shared room was noisy if anyone moved in bed.

Not much to say. Since covid19 is destroying tourism, the entire place was empty and lacking any vibe. Lights off in a massive place like this is spooky to say the least. Free parking? I guess….

The pillows are awful. The bed is awful. Get some memory foam pillows, please. My neck is so sore even after 2 nights. I’d just think this place would be fine with actual people in it but. If you pass up a bargain to people to stay here, you will have a “vibe” like you seem to want to advertise, but since you charge like ¥28000 for two nights not even Japanese will book here. I know it’s hard to do this right now but if you dropped tour price, people will come.
