The hotel staff were very friendly. The location was fabulous.

The Restaurant was somewhat lacking. My husband enjoyed his dinner but my selection was very poor (steak pie). They seemed to have staff shortages in the dining room both for dinner and breakfast. The service was slow to get drinks and ordering. At breakfast there were empty plates that should have contained fruit and danish pastries. Neither were replenished and there was still nearly an hour of service left. The omelette was over cooked. When we were checking out there were duvets and bed linen hung over the landing balustrades!
