Windmill Bay Hotel

The room was super clean and confortable. All the necessary items were available. Breakfast is really good with so much variety. The bar staff are really helpful and so nice.

The middle aged woman working at the reception was like a robot, with a poker face, not helpful. We asked for one hour late check-out. She said “No, new guests are coming at 11:30am”. It’s not even possible as the cleaning team should clean the room after 11am and proposed check-in was at 2pm. She should have proposed an alternative solution or just be nicer when talking to customers. Really regrettable for a high standing hotel…

Beautiful hotel right on the waterfront. Rooms were spotless and comfortable with everything you could need including a very thoughtful welcome basket. The bed was comfortable and the shower powerful. The pool area was spotless with lovely sunbeds facing the sea or the pool. The sea was right off the pool area just down some steps although there was no beach the water is very shallow and easy to access. The bar/restaurant was nice with good food and drinks at reasonable prices. Breakfast was great with a good selection of choices including lovely Greek yoghurt, pastries, hot food and an omelette station. The location is excellent, a 5 minute walk into town with many bars, restaurants and shops but out the way of the busy town. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The soundproofing in the rooms is very poor. Our room was just off the busy main road and was very noisy, we asked to get moved and the next day we were moved to a quieter room in the building which although still a little noisy was much better. Staff were very accommodating with the request to change rooms.

It a great venue with very nice staff.

Much cheaper options for excursions and car rentals in the town or online, but staff are still very helpful booking the expensive hotel recommended ones!
