Facilities were great just a little old but v pleased with everything overall. Ski drying room, onsen were a pleasure to have for us who were skiing! And the slope (it was a cat track down to the main slope) was just behind the hotel!
Breakfast was good. I paid for dinner there on one night and it was great too!

- Very great location, you can truly ski in ski out ( I see comments complaining this is not ski in ski out, I doubt either they can’t read the map or they come too early/late in the season where lower runs are closed)
- Convenient to all resorts in Shiga Kogen as Yamanoeki bus station is a short walk, you can go to Okushiga or Kumamoyu without having to transit
-Nagano snow shuttle can drop you off and pick you up right at the hotel to/from HND/NRT
- Staff are very nice, one young man at the reception speaks better-than-average-Japanese English
-Free laundry and drying machine ( need to buy detergents)
-No luggage storage but there are lockers
-FOOD!!!! Both breakfast and dinners are so miserable. And you do not have other restaurant choices. Please do improve food!
- We cannot use wifi at all throughout our 4 nights stay
