This was our second stay at the property. The first time was a disaster of a vacation and the staff here were incredibly helpful and accommodating! Of course we came back. The proximity to Puy du Fou was our main reason for both visits. It's a wonderful place for a family - nature surrounds the whole grounds, there's playgrounds and other places to run, the pool is great, lots of friends to make! The cabins are large with lots of space even for a big family. The kitchens have everything you could need to make your own meals but the village isn't that far if you need a restaurant. Oh, and there's programming most nights but we didn't have time for any of it (and we don't speak French so might have been hard). I also almost forgot, when we got there, our shower didn't seem to be working. Someone came out immediately, got a plumber on the phone and fixed the problem.
That we didn't have more time to stay? Perhaps it's more difficult without a car but we don't really know as we had one both times. And, of course, speaking French would have made things much easier but everyone worked together to get us settled. One funny note - the cabins look very similar and one of my kids walked into the wrong one - twice! The people inside thought it was hilarious luckily.
