This was a good value stay for the night in a place with not many options. There was a small but nice restaurant in the Registration building with very good food and service. The people at the Registration desk were very friendly and helpful. The motel building had a large, shared kitchen, but the rules of shared kitchens were not respected by the guests. There was also a large area where you could eat your prepared meal. The room was basic. It included two twin beds, rather than a double bed. The bathroom was small and only soap was provided. There was no hairdryer in our room. There was no elevator to reach upper floors. Parking and a children's playground were outside the front door. I understood that the room would be basic. It served our needs for one night.

A beautiful and quiet location, with good access to and free from the Flam area—the focal point of our stay. We spent the day we arrived on a Fjord cruise, drove through the tunnel and spent the night. The next day drove back over the Aurlandsfjellet which is accessed directly from the campsite. The cabin was clean and comfortable for our group of six.
The kitchen could have used a few more utensils making us glad we didn’t plan to cook anything more complex than a frozen pizza, but otherwise there was nothing to not like.

Good facilities and room was spacious.
The park itself was in a lovely setting with heaps of playgrounds etc for kids
The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of space for everyone.
The room needed a bit of maintenance - the lighting was very dull and one of our lamps was missing a switch so we couldn’t use it.
The shower curtain also fell down at one point and we had to fix it!
The sink wasn’t very clean but otherwise everything was fine.
Lastly, the sauna is very close and it really made the outside area smell very smoky, so not very good for people with asthma.

Beautiful views. Well equipped and clean kitchen.
Beds and pillows very uncomfortable. No hairdryer in the room. Receptionist didn make any effort to ensure our stay was a good one
