Thankfully they let us checkin early, which was very convenient. Maria and the staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. The location is great, 5 mins to the beach and many cafes, shops, restaurants around.
The room was a bit smaller than how it looked. The shower cabinet was not closing fully which led water leak to the floor and created a bit of mess.

The location is excellent. We could easily walk to the beach which is at the end of the street, the old town, new town and marina are easily accessible. The owners and staff are nice and friendly. We liked having the neighbourhood cats outside. It was nice to have a large balcony. We were allowed to keep our bags at the apartment when we checked out on the last day, which was good as we had a night flight. It was the start of the season so many supermarkets and shops aren’t open but in season there are lots of food shops on the street. This is a great base to explore Rhodes, which is beautiful.
The pictures on booking.com of our one bed family apartment did not match what we got, this was really disappointing as you book somewhere based on the photos of the apartment you are going to get. The room was not ready on arrival as there was a mistake on the booking, which the owner quickly fixed by making up the second bed. The photos show a comfortable sofa, sun loungers on the balcony and beds dressed with coloured blankets and matching cushions which we didn’t have. The sofa we got was a day bed, this was a mattress covered with a blanket over it and no cushions. We asked for cushions and got two pillows. For a six night stay it wasn’t comfortable as we didn’t have a comfortable place to relax. There were mosquitos in the bedroom which I wasn’t prepared for and we were bitten at night. There were also small bugs in the apartment. Overall the comfort and decoration of the apartment we got was disappointing and it didn’t match what we expected to get based on the photos on our booking confirmation. There was a power cut, this was no fault of the owner but meant we had no electricity one morning, so couldn’t make a hot drink or use the cooker for breakfast which was inconvenient until the power came back on.
