Nice villa with poor service and lack of clearing

Beautiful view, BBQ area, dishwasher and washing machine.

Poor service. If you have a problem, and would like to reach the owner in the evening, he will reply only the next day. AC didn’t work properly. Kitchen was not equipped enough: dishes are old, knives are blunt. No minimum cooking stuff: no salt, paper, sugar, oil - nothing. All you need to buy. No replacement of household accessories (dishwasher tablets, tissues, even TOILET PAPER you need to buy). No soap in the bathroom, no shampoo, no body wash…. nothing. Very bad cleaning, no replacement of the towels (in 10 days). The swimming pool is not private, you share it with 3 more apartments of this villa.

great place to relax and enjoy the view.

a beautiful view, charcoal grill in the ground floor, very comfortable bed, ceiling fan, bakery and some other stores in a walking distance.

I could not swim in the lagoon and a walk to a beach where you can swim is longish.

Location Ben was very helpful and responded quickly to problems.

Barking dogs incessantly especially at night when trying to sleep Kitchen not well equipped and fridge does not get as cold as it should

Overall a very spacious apartment great bathrooms and 2 comfortable bedrooms out of three. great location

location, comfort, facilities very nice apartment in a great location

bedrooms displayed as 3 doubles in your photos. third bedroom is only suitable for children. Two single beds that cannot be moved with very little storage . it said that cleaning was 5 days a week this did not happen. no sheet changes in 12 days! only one set of keys provided which made it awkward. should have keypad at the gate to gain access. WiFi does not work once you leave the terrace. pool should have 2 sets of steps at either side and each side should have a shower. difficult to access pool when other apartment is occupied. Two umbrellas and six sunbeds to cater for full capacity of 12 people. umbrellas did not work.

We had a lovely stay in La Preneuse where you also Can see The real lokal life and close to nature.

Beatyful location at The best part of The Island The pool and terrace was very Nice. Feeling safe at The apartment and The Beachfront.

Kitchen equipment Was a little poor.

Very bad experience

We arrived at the given location and couldn’t reach easily. It was a narrow dirt dark road, our car could barely get in between two walls. The location is suspicious and scary, we contacted the staff and we arrived finally after a hard time trying to locate the property. The pool is not private, although it is stated here in booking that it is, the pool is shared with other guests in the same property. We didn’t feel safe and decided to leave the property yet they charged us the full amount for 6 days. It was really disappointing, the pictures and the information are misleading. I would not recommend this villa.

The prefect place for a group of friends visiting Mauritius

Perfect location in Black River, Incredible View all day long, the fact that there is a pool and a beach in the property was an amazing experience. It felt so private, safe and secluded although the location wasn't really secluded. Lots of shops and cafes and other facilities at walking distance. The hosts Sean and Ben were of such great assistance and high level of hospitality.

The only thing we didn't like because it wasn't clear in the photos of the property, was the 3rd room with twin beds, it's a tiny room, suitable only for 1 or 2 single people. We expected all rooms to be similar in size. But that still didn't really matter compared to other amazing things about this place, we would definitely go there again.

Good

Pool, spacious flat, view from the pool to the le Morne, very nice and attentive hosts Ben and Sean. Shops and restaurants are nearby. We highly recommend the day trip with the boat that belongs to the flat. We saw dolphins and even wales.

The flat is relatively dark and not very quiet. Every night at around 4 am three roosters and several dogs start to crow and to bark next to the flat and continue with that for hours. We could hardly sleep and we’re lucky to have ear plugs with us.
