This is a lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of Croatia. The accommodation consists of four lodges with a shared pool and a covered seating/cooking area. Our lodge was spacious and comfortable, with 3 large bedrooms, 2 air-conditioned with a balcony. There was space to sleep 8. The beds were very comfortable. Downstairs was a fully-stocked kitchen, dining and seating areas. The living space opened onto a covered terrace overlooking the swimming pool. The terrace has a comfortable sofa and chairs and another dining table.
The shared space has tables and a small bar with drinks and icecream and an honesty book system. There is a table-tennis table and a sound system. The space is under cover and lit.
Guido is an excellent host who treats you like guests in his home. He is a fantastic cook and welcomed us with a home-cooked meal, including vegetables grown in his garden. He is responsive and informative, and even managed to find a local garage to quickly fix an issue with our car before the long journey home.
A few minutes walk takes you down to the river and a boathouse with toilet, shower and cooking facilities. There are 2 kayaks and 3 paddleboards, or you can swim in the clean river. There are some forest trails for walking and the access road is suitable for running.
The setting is beautiful and peaceful. Access is via a single-track road and it is about 45 mins to the shops, so you need to plan grocery shopping. We only did 3 day trips in 10 days as it was much nicer to be at the site than sitting in the car.

Heerlijk in de natuur, ver van de bewoonde wereld in het bos.
Mooie waterval met allerlei voorzieningen geregeld (zoals kano, supboard). Het water is op sommige gedeeltes niet heel diep dus prima vertoeffen voor een gezin met zowel jonge als oudere kinderen. Dit geldt overigens ook voor de accommodatie zelf.
Host is supervriendelijk!

Zeer mooie en rustige locatie. Erg mooie natuur. Hele vriendelijke host (Gvido en zijn dochter Petra) die er alles aan doen om het naar je zin te maken.
Prachtige rivier. Heerlijk lokaal eten.
Dat we weer weg moesten..
