The staff were the best part of our stay - always friendly, helpful and happy to answer questions. Breakfast was great too, with a good choice every morning. The location is convenient and works well as a base for exploring the area.
The hotel is quite old and really needs renovation - the rooms and facilities feel dated. The bigger problem was sleep: most nights we were woken by noise from neighbouring rooms and by doors slamming shut in the corridor. The soundproofing is very poor. Cleanliness could also be better.
