Landhaus Lilly

When we got off the train in Obertraun, we were warmly greeted by Gaetane, who picked us up and drove us to the property—something we certainly weren’t expecting, but truly appreciated. The property itself is absolutely stunning, and the location was even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Gaetane made us feel at home almost immediately. The common areas were wonderful, and our room looked exactly like the pictures—if not even better in person. Both Gaetane and Milam are absolutely wonderful people who truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. From picking us up at the train station, to the homemade poppy seed cake, the sumptuous breakfasts, and all the thoughtful little touches and comforts they have considered, everything was exceptional. We enjoyed our stay so much that we actually extended our time in Obertraun. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who values authenticity, genuine hospitality, and traveling at a slower pace like we do. Thank you, Gaetane and Milam, for making our stay so memorable. We plan to be back!

The hosts! Gaetan and Milan. They were so accommodating. They allowed us to use their garage to store our motorbike and Gaetan made me a quiche after I mistook her apricot tart for one! I felt terrible! Bless her heart. Such a lovely welcoming couple.
