We chose Hotel Murgia by chance after an overnight ferry trip; I was looking through offers and selected a place that was reasonably priced and conveniently located for driving to various attractions. It turned out to be a brilliant choice! The location is excellent for those traveling by car, offering easy access to tourist destinations within a one-hour drive—some are just half an hour away, with only Lecce or Taranto being further out. The hotel has a large parking lot that is locked at night. There is a fair-sized garden in front of the hotel (I loved the mirror in the garden!) where you can relax, especially if you have a dog with you (the hotel is pet-friendly). There is an on-site restaurant serving excellent food and good house wine; it’s a shame that we usually got back around midnight, by which time it was already closed. The room was quite spacious and very clean (the housekeeping staff really do a great job), the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the room even had a balcony facing the garden. The hotel was very quiet; there was no noise from outside or from neighbors. The staff were friendly and helpful (they even helped me fix something on my car—thanks, Domenico!), making the stay truly pleasant; I felt almost like I was among friends. It’s a pity we had to leave and the experience came to an end, but I would love to return. If you are looking for a clean place that offers easy access to many local tourist towns for day trips, this is a great option. One more thing: the room rate included a decent breakfast—unlike the classic Italian breakfast, there was a wider range of food options to choose from here, not just a *cornetto* and coffee.

Sehr nettes Personal, großes Zimmer mit Bad, alles sehr sauber. Gutes Frühstück und sehr gutes Restaurant, dazu gutes Internet... was will man mehr? Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt.
