Very well located in the heart of Casco Viejo. Room with great view of the city. It is possible to leave your bags safely after checking out, for no extra fee.
Noise in the upper rooms at night from the bars in the vicinity. Staff was understanding and checked if we could switch rooms, which wasn't possible because the hotel was fully booked. Earplugs were provided and helped us sleep eventually.

A lovely, clean and charming colonial building within Casco Viejo. The room was comfortable and modern and the location was absolutely perfect, with rafts of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel is reasonably priced and the location in Casco Viejo is convenient. The building itself has some charm, and I can understand why the photos make it look appealing.
Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.
When I first arrived, I was given a room where water was already coming from underneath the door. When I opened it, the room was completely flooded. I was then moved to another room upstairs, but when we got there, the door wouldn’t open and a member of staff had to go and find the emergency key.
More generally, the hotel looks much better in the photos than it does in reality. The pictures definitely create a much more appealing impression than what you actually find once you arrive.
I understand that this is a budget-friendly hotel, but basic things like having a dry room and being able to access the assigned room should really be a given.
Overall, quite a disappointing experience.
