The lounge area was beautiful. Very comfy and a lovely fireplace with logs for colder days and nights. The dining room was very rustic and lovely. A great selection of home made jams, cereal and juices. The breakfast itself was delicious with plenty of choices. We were asked if everything was OK and if needed anything else, more toast, coffee etc.
Unfortunately the cleanliness of the rooms left a lot to be desired. The carpets looked as if they hadn't been vacuumed. The mirrors were covered in dust so had to be cleaned before we could see in them. The wall heaters were covered in dust. And it wasn't from just a day or two. Overall the rooms and bathrooms were not that clean which let the place down and unfortunately, this would put me off staying there again.
