The property was beautiful and had everything you could want-including bicycles. The room was lovely, bistro table & chairs outside of the room, picnic tables on the property.
This is not a problem just a cultural difference-no screens on the window and no air conditioning. The temps were lovely however and this was not an issue during our stay.

Excellent breakfast including cooked eggs. Excellent location for getting the ferry from Cherbourg to Ireland the next day. Also great for Utah beach and Sainte-Mere-Eglise WW2 museums.

We stayed in a room on the top floor of the main house, a lovely large comfortable double aspect room. Great bathroom. The restaurant is very good for dinner, oysters literally straight from the beach a few km down the road. We rented quality electric bikes from them - it is a great area for biking. Of course the D-Day story is a big part of Utah beach, but it is also an area of wonderful nature and huge beaches. Very friendly and helpful staff.
We were a little disappointed by breakfast. Anywhere else it would have been fine, but given the top class restaurant, and the fact that we had to pay breakfast on top of an already expensive hotel room, we felt they could have gone the extra mile, eg. focusing on specific local products, or more home made options. No cooked option other than eggs that I could see.
