What a Dump! Will Never Stay Here Again.

The wifi is strong. There's a drying rack with clothes pins. Hot water was plentiful, a rare occurrence on Curacao. The refrigerator and freezer worked well.

Stayed in room G. The parking area gets overcrowded and people will block you in (see picture attached). The unit was filthy with disgusting stained pillows and a broken bed (notice the bow in the bed and the fraying mattress in the pictures attached). Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable and the mattress and box spring very old (perhaps 20+ years). The bathroom door was broken as if someone tried to break it down (see picture attached). There's no outlet in the bathroom. The see-through, sheer curtains gave no privacy and you also get the security parking lot light directly into the bedroom at night. I had to put up beach towels over the windows to provide privacy and darkness for the bedroom. There are no screens on the windows, so you can't open a window to let the heat out without inviting the insects in. The rooms are nonsmoking but the property allows smoking. So if you're trying to relax on the balcony, you get a constant cigarette or marijuana smell wafting around. Even though it's advertised as totally air conditioned, there is A/C in the bedroom only, which leaves the rest of the unit very hot (85 degrees F). There's a big gap at the floor of the entry door, so there were wasps, flies and bees in the room. I had to stuff a towel in the gap to keep the bugs out. The walls are thin, and there's an adjoining door made of hollow core wood to the next-door unit and you could hear everything. Very poor lighting and the fluorescent light in the kitchen was blinking like a strobe light. The kitchenette has a two-burner cooktop, but one burner would spark and short out, an electrical fire hazard. The other burner would take 30 minutes to boil water. If you want a peaceful and clean location, this is not it. There's a party house next to this property that gets rented on the weekend, and it's a constant party with loud music and people screaming.

Amazing Curacao at My Dream Appartments

Amazing view every morning and the landlord was always ready to help with anything we requested.

I was not allowed to stay living there forever.

We (couple late 50s) stayed at My Dream Apartments in apartment H, on the top floor facing the ocean. Fairly large apartment having a living area, small kitchen and a big bedroom with 4 beds and an air conditioning that worked fine. Small airflow being able to cool the bedroom only. The apartment is a bit outdated but that did not bother us. Because there are no blinds on the windows, it got quite hot inside, +30°C There were a lot of small mosquitoes inside and we got heavily stung. The TV had a lot of channels to choose from and the wifi worked fine, slow sometimes. The bathroom is big as well, but the fountain is really small though there is room to fit a larger one. The shower is good with unsufficient headroom. There was a big fridge in the kitchen area and it worked well. There is a connecting door to apartment G. That causes a lot of inconvenience but fortunately the neighbors weren't that noisy. We had the impression that the apartment was not really well cleaned when we arrived. Everything seemed to work well in the appartment and the owner is quite helpful.

The view from the terrace is nice, and it was comfy sitting outside, although hot. On arrival it was a disappointment to hear from the owner that the ladder to the ocean was broke and that we could not use it. My Dream Apartments is located between a lot of weekend houses. They are only inhabited during the weekend explained the owner. And usually they throw a big party then, like the friday night we stayed there. The loud music was intense. We moved to the bedroom but the music was still audible from there unfortunately. But the most annoying experience was the continuous barking of dogs. Starting from the morning until late in the evening and sometimes at night.

Amazing view and helpful host , property needs renovation

The property is set in a very nice location with a beautiful sea view. It is possible to walk to the sea by a ladder ( some level of fitness is required ) . The Lagun beach is only few minutes drive away . Parking at property is for free . The entry is operated via gate ( needs opening manually ) There are CCTVs and place felt safe . The host was very friendly and helpful . He was very responsive and even helped us with setting internet on a local SIM and gave us advice on local supermarkets. Wifi in the property was good . The kitchen was well equipped . There were also sun beds on the terrace which had really amazing view . Balcony had dinner table and we could observe sunset when had dinner .

The property needs renovation and repaint. There was a small hole in the bathroom and we have seen twice cockroaches coming through that hole . The cooker is small and takes ages to warm up .

Fantastic view!

The location is perfect! Although you definitely need a vehicle. The seaside view is like no other - absolutely stunning! The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. It's nice to have a full size fridge! Love this apartment!

The only cause for concern here is the type of stove top. The burners are sold steel and take forever to even just boil water. However, the owners has told me he is looking into replacing them.

Superb

Peaceful and quiet place. There is an access to the sea via stairs. Snorkeling is lovely along a cliff, there are living corals around, turtles can be spotted.

Great oceanfront getaway to recharge

The view, that we could use the air-conditioning and there was a fan. The TV channels and near the beach

The toilet sometimes has issues and the bedroom sometimes had a smell

Ocean view apartment H

Really enjoyed the private patio area, grilled several nights. Located directly above the water, amazing ocean view and sunset directly in front of the apartment. Swimming and snorkeling from common deck area. Private location, gated and fenced yard. Good basic accommodations. Great area to explore the West end from.Very short walk to beautiful sandy beach of lagun, that has two restaurants and a dive shop, Short drive to many other west side beaches and the national Parks. Owner's checked several times to make sure everything was okay, which it was.

Really nothing negative to report, stayed in upstairs apartment (H) maybe an older couple wouldn't want to walk up the stairs?

Thanks for a great vacation!

We had a fantastic time at the appartment. The organization was very good, we were well informed about the hand-over of the keys and other organizational stuff. The landlord ist very helpful and answers very quickly via mail in case of questions, problems etc. The location is beautiful, we had a fantastic view over the sea, and thanks to a ladder, we we able to descend into the sea.
