The gate was nice to have and the grounds are beautiful. The bed was comfortable in spite of the ants crawling on you. The water view from the unit was beautiful. Plenty of parking once inside the gate. There was a lot of snorkeling and beach gear in the unit.
Our television never worked the whole week, the ants were everywhere including the kitchen and in our bed and we didn’t want to use spray pesticide where we sleep. A guy randomly came to the door claiming the owner asked him to change a door lock. He had no ID and while I asked him to come back when we are gone, he was pulling on the door so I told him to leave. It felt very intrusive and rude. He kept looking in through the patio door even as I told him to wait while I contacted the manager. The construction taking place next door was loud everyday with the banging. Since the units are packed tightly together there is no privacy and the people in the unit next door were loud everyday drinking and eating on their patio upstairs and they could see down into our unit, which they did, including the bathroom. There was a washing machine in the unit but it didn’t work and the only machine available on the property was very old, rusty, and dirty. You have to buy a token for it for $3. We didn’t use it and just washed our clothes by hand and hung them on a clothesline. The restaurants close to the resort are way overpriced and underwhelming. We went to two of them during the week and decided to buy food from the grocery store and make it ourselves.

The unit was well-equipped with a great view of the water. It was spacious, with two washrooms, two showers, and two patios. The host even provided snorkeling gear, a beach chair, and a cooler.
The inconvenience of having to pay in cash (USD) as a non-US citizen.

Nice and clean unit, steps from the ocean. Has Walkout balcony on both floors.
Location is very close to some of the best beaches on the island.
Beds could use an update. Mattress is not the best.
A/C does not work well in some of the rooms - fortunately this wasn't an issue because of the breeze from the ocean.

Seems to be a scam, we never could stay at this hotel because of communication problems with the host. Neighbors said the price we were supposed to pay was to too much cheap for that hotel. Not recommended.

This is our second time staying at this resort. It is a wonderful place to unwind and very convenient location to really excellent beaches for snorkeling and walking distance to some excellent restaurants. The snorkeling in front of the resort is excellent. It is very clean and safe! Rene is very attentive and is available for any questions and issues! The view, the pool and the units are lovely!
There is only a couple of things that were not great. I did have alot of trouble getting into the back door of the unit for some reason and did not know that the lock box was at the front by the sliding glass door. It was dark when we arrived so that added a bit of stress. Also there were lots of ants on our counter in the kitchen. Harmless but annoying. Also having to pay in cash was not advantageous. We don't like carrying alot of cash and would have liked putting it on our credit card.

The location was ideal for snorkeling, right on a low bluff above the ocean and walking distance to 5 restaurants.
Curaçao (not Marazul) needs to do something about wind blown trash. They need recycling, regular trash collections and road crews to clean up the road sides

Very spacious bungalow with comfortable furniture, AC, and a great rooftop patio. The view is also outstanding, and a very convenient drive to the beaches in west Curacao. We felt very safe in our location.
Things that were promised but were either not included or broken such as snorkeling gear, knives, cooking basics such as oil and salt.
We found the mosquito nets only on the last day but there was no way to put them up.

What a view! Good snorkeling out front along the cliff. Good restaurants nearby. Friendly resort.
Could have used some beach chairs and umbrella to take along to beaches. A small cooler would have been appreciated for picnics and getting groceries.

I loved the place...sea view and access two steps from your bungalow...westpunt is great, the people on the resort are so kind (thanks Linda and Steve!)...we had a lovely stay and would love to come back one day! Thanks again Marleen and Benoit!

Love love love the location. View is amazing, apartment was comfortable which nice size beds, decent shower and fully equiped kitchen. The sunsets were breathtaking and could be seen from the balcony...
It couldve been cleaner. Towels and bedding was clean but some kitchen equipment couldve been cleaner (big rust spots on the fridge and sticky glasses for example). The window sills were full of flies (i know its the season) and at certain points the paintjob couldve been better. We also didnt see anybody from the staff for about 2 days (we got the codes per mail to let ourselves in) which confused us as to when and where to pay etc... (Pay has to be in cash btw). Also, its not a 3 bedroom apartment. Its a 2 bedroom (although the upstairs bedroom doesnt have a door) apartment with a wonky sleeping sofa in the living room. Without proper curtains etc.

No bathroom on second floor and no closet or dresser for clothing in the upstairs king bedroom.had to keep clothes in suitcase.

amazing location, peaceful and quiet even though it was fully booked, well maintained, great outdoor space, nice pool area, two staircases down to the sea for swimming/diving/snorkeling, BBQ with each apartment, private outdoor areas and great common areas

I prefered that the master bedroom (upstairs) could have a door to creare some privacy from the noise (tv) coming from the sitting room

The manager wrote a descriptive text about the place. The manager also tried to facilitate us, help us during our stay, but he didn't really fix everything or provide us with some kitchen utilities. The place is nice and quiet, mostly guests over +65 and families stay there. If you are looking for a place to retreat, that's your place. The location is good, you are close to most of the beaches, but it's a small island everything is close anyway. They provide hand soap and dishwashing soap.
The manager informed us that the keys would be in the key box. However, it was on the table, inside the house. We looked around the manager to find our key to check-in. The neighbors helped. The free WIFI is slow, sometimes not working. The 'oven' is just a microwave. The manager told us that it was a combi-oven, but it didn't work; generally, knives were blunt, and the facility needed proper care. Our lamp on the terrace was not working; they didn't fix it, I think they won't ever fix it. (The previous guest also asked for it). Some blinds were not working. Our ceiling had a leakage. The pool is so tiny for such a large facility. They don't accept card payments; you need to do a bank transfer -aka it's bad if you have a discount/coupon from booking.com. They ask you not to feed the cats in the facility, but they are starving. The mid-cleaning was not mid-cleaning. They did it in the last two days when we asked for it. They don't provide toilet paper, better to buy it before going there. We were the only young couples in their late 20s. There is no chance of meeting with other travelers of our age.

Great views and privacy up in the north. We had a sea view appartment over 2 floors and liked it a lot. Great sunsets and if you want climb down the stairs directly into the sea. There are multiple top quality, fantastic diving and snorkeling spots and fantastic beaches around. You definitely need a rental car and do some decent shopping closer to the center before coming up. Equipment/utensils in the kitchen so lala and used, but alright. The manager Rene is a great help and organised a late check out for us and the pool area is top too.
We enjoyed it a lot and recommend it.
