Charmant hôtel pour un séjour près du Rhin

L’architecture de l’hôtel situé dans une vieille maison du 18eme siècle. Belle décoration intérieure. L’emplacement de l’hôtel Das Krone, au centre du village de Königswinter, rend la villégiature très agréable. Les restaurants et commerces sont très proches, de même que le funiculaire pour les Drachenfelds et le château de Drachenburg. Depuis les chambres du dernier étage, une (petite) vue sur ces sites. Proximité du Rhin, de la gare et des stations de tramway.

Wir wussten nicht, dass ausschließlich veganes Frühstück angeboten wird. Wir haben uns darauf eingelassen; ich würde das aber nicht noch einmal wählen.

A lovely hotel in the middle of town

This is a small hotel right in the middle of town, with easy access to all of the shops and restaurants. The staff are super friendly and helpful. If you wish to visit the castle, there is a train just 5 mins walk away, or you can walk. We walked and it was a pleasant 1 1/2 hours through the forest right to the top view point.

This is a relaxing starting point for hikes along the Rhine, and just 20 minutes by tram from Bonn

We enjoyed the ample and rich vegan breakfast in the lovely morning room. The food was fresh and imaginative, each dish was made with the seal of the approval of the hotel's affable owner.

We wish we could have stayed longer.

Neighbourhood and hotel itself is very beautiful, cosy and the most important clean. Hotel stuff is very friendly and hospitable.

Breakfast is served at the table. And although I am not vegan I liked the experience.

No mini bar or other facilities to get something to drink in the evenings.

I have been to many hotels (hotel chains as well as boutique hotels like "Das Hotel Krone"). But I have never been welcomed and treated as humanly and warmly as here, but you are also left to roe if you like to retreat. The staff is hands-on and very friendly and professional. The food is delicious and vegan and healthy. The cleanliness was fabulous. Highly recommended if you want to visit a more special hotel and don't always like the chain hotels.

Nothing to dislike. Everything meet my expectations.

Calm location in pittoresque village 3 minutes from tram to Bonn city centre, river promenade at 100m distance All necessary infrastructure in 50 metres distance (various restaurants, food store "Netto") Spacious room, excellent mattress

Like i am traveling a lot by work, have possibility to compare many hotels, this one was very nice. Welcoming, very kindly and friendly attitude with clients. Perfect location in centre of the city. The room with very comfortable bed, nice interior. Will come back for next trip to this hotel definitely! ☺️

Great location in the center of Koningswinter, very polite and friendly staff, spacious rooms

I left some of my belongings in the room and the staff was kind enough to mail them back to me. I really appreciate that. They are also very warm people, always willing to help.

Good centrally located hotel

Lovely location on the pedestrian street up from the river - very very nice owner/manager. Spotlessly clean and service second to none. My room was quite small but adequate.

Absolutely lovely hotel and town - fantastic place to re-charge your batteries.

Location is excellent and the staff were super friendly and very helpful.

Only negative point is that the restaurant next door could be a little noisy in the evening.
