Ci è piaciuto il fatto di essere in mezzo alla montagna e vicino al fiume, in un ambiente colorato con giochi, animali, e persone gentili.
Una delle migliori colazioni di tutto il nostro viaggio, e una Harira buonissima consumata per cena.
Abbiamo avuto difficoltà a trovare dove fosse il parcheggio, ma il personale è comunque stato molto disponibile e ci ha aiutati.

First the great things: every person on the staff was caring and eager to assist and ensure that we had a good experience. The food was excellent - we had the best tagine of our two week trip at Dar Ikalimo - intense and lemony, just superb. The room was spacious and we enjoyed our balcony. The bed and pillows were very comfortable (and we're picky) and the sheets were so nice and thick and crisp we looked up the website to see if we could buy some! The location is convenient to the sights of the area and if you have your own transport, you can drive past all the touristy places to some truly beautiful spots. On the downside the hotel furnishings are a bit tired and the bathroom was not great - the toilet was threatening to detach from the wall and there was no showerhead. There are over 150 steep stairs to climb to access the hotel which is a disincentive to leave to eat anywhere else, especially in the evening when it's dark. Note, if it matters to you, they do not carry alcohol. There are a lot of animals and so the smells that accompany them are apparent.
