From the start of this review, please note that there are 4 completely separate aspects to be reviewed - three very positive and one very negative aspect - the overall score ultimately given by us is a balance between the three good and one bad aspects.
Positive News #1: The location of Ozukara Apart 1 in Gumbet is very good - there are numerous shops, supermarkets, bars, and clubs in the immediate vicinity which should cater for young to old, couples or families, or any other combination. There is even a restaurant adjacent to the hotel which offers a 10% reduction to hotel guess - breakfast is taken in this restaurant (the breakfast is adequate and should cover most tastes). We chose to eat in the restaurant each evening for our convenience, especially as we we made so welcome by the manager. A taxi station is located next to the hotel, so transport to water parks, etc, is easily arranged (and appears fairly cheap).
Positive News #2: The rooms are pleasantly decorated and in good condition - the beds were comfortable. Depending on your booking conditions air-con may be included free of charge (ours was free of charge) - the air-con worked well. WiFi was available and worked. Security boxes are available in each room - ours cost €5 for 3 days (a worthwhile investment).
Positive News #3: The swimming pool is really good - a small pool for children and a larger one for adults. The standard of pool maintenance is very high - the pool manager (and maintenance man) is to be complimented on the standard achieved. Please note that room towels are not allowed at the pool, so bring your own (or buy from the supermarket next door). There is also a bar at the pool (no surprises there!)
Negative News #1:

Stepping out of the main hotel bed room and into the bathroom enters you into another world! My wife entered and returned immediately, appalled by what she saw.
There was a large light brown scale of ingrained something on the rear of the toilet bowl and under the toilet bowl water were patches of dark brown lurking to impress (or overpower) the toilet user - see first two attached photos. Toilet cleaning was previously totally inadequate
Moreover, the shower was overwhelmed by black mold around its whole base and up the walls - in the battle between the black mold and the housekeeping staff the black mold had no doubt won a great victory!! - see the last three attached photos. The shower was a definite health hazard.
The duty manager was summoned and made the mistake of telling my wife "it was only lime scale" in the toilet - my wife's reaction surprised the duty manager (and myself) as she verbally assaulted him for his total lack of concern - he was so surprised at her response that he immediately backed off and offered to arrange a deep clean of the toilet bowl the next morning. I can report that 50% of the scale was removed the next morning, just leaving that under the rim to remain untouched - the scale under the water in the bottom of the bowl remained. The toilet bowl needs a very large dose of citric acid (in Turkish "Sitrik Asit") to dissolve away all the lime scale in the toilet bowl.
As to the shower's black mold, nothing could be done!! The only solution will be to remove all the silicone sealant (and black mold), treat any remaining black mold with anti-mold solution and then apply new clean white silicone sealant. We had to tolerate our quick visits to the shower for 3 days!!!! It should come as no surprise that we do not intend to return to this hotel again.

Gli interni sono un po vecchi ed andrebbero rifatti.
La parte della cucina è un po carente di stoviglie ed asciugapentole.
Il terzo letto era un po scomodo per una persona adulta.
