Very poor

Close to the airport, easy early checkout. Owner was nice.

The apartment was really dirty. Kitchen equipments were greasy and disgusting. There wasn’t any battery in the remote of the AC. AC seemed like it was not cleaned for ages. It was really uncomfortable to sleep there but we arrived late so we did not have the chance to go somewhere else. It is ok that it’s not modern for that price but it should have been cleaned. Wifi connection was poor.

Excellent and close to the airport

Very nice owners who help out with tips for activities and do their best to make you welcome. Ritesh even arranged to join a catamaran trip to Ile aux Cerfs and parked my car inside the gate for the night (very narrow passage if more than one to be parked). The breakfast is also very nice with pancake, omlette, fruits, toast and coffee or tea. I also liked the ceiling fan.

The room was quite small but absolutely fine if you only sleep there as I did.

Feeling like a home

The property is near the airport only several minutes driving. Thus, it is a perfect place for transfer. The owner family is very friendly especially Ritesh who reacts quickly to the customer’s needs. He is such a diligent young man, not only in charge of the management but also is a great chef making nice breakfast to cater. He knocks on the door exactly at 6am to take me to the airport. He is so kind and patient, introducing the sightseeing places because he can also provide the tour guide service. His wife, Ovima, is also a wonderful lady! She always smiles let me feel like my family member. It is amazing their nieces are so beautiful, smart and nice to me. They are staying there on vacation. They make me feel I am staying with family not a traveler. The price is reasonable including the breakfast really a good experience there!

Very good

It was very close to the airport when arriving on an evening flight. The room was comfortable, breakfast was amazing and staff super friendly.

Very pleasant and enjoyable

As vegetarians there was only cheese toast and pancakes. Some mushrooms chips and salad would have been preferable with baked beans. It’s close to the airport which is good. Ritesh and his wife were very helpful and accommodating. We had a lovely stay and we were comfortable. Definitely great value for money. Wouldn’t have minded paying a little more for a good breakfast. Should be an option.

Microwave didn’t work although we didn’t mention that to the owners. Some bowls and cutlery would be convenient. Great value for money.

Very good

Room was very basic but all you need. we crashed in for a night an was totally fine for this short stay. Didn't have parking but we parked in front of the property in the street.

It's good and close to the airport

Friendly host and it's close to the airport and shops are nearby

I booked a deluxe room but unfortunately there was a mistake and I got a normal room. It was ok. No air conditioner, but a loud fan

good place for a night at mahebourg, close to airport

breakfast and dinner cooked freshly on the roof terrace. feels like family. very nice and helpful staff. ac. close to restaurants, shops and supermarket (2-3min), waterfront walking distance 5-10min, could park my car directly in the yard, so it was safe! airport, 10-15min drive.

my room was different than the picture showed>> older. very oldschool inventary and not the cleanest „Appartement“, very small room.

Superb

My stay at Residence les bambous was great! The owners Ritesh and Oyima are super nice and very welcoming. The close connection to the airport made it easy to find. Ritesh made me a list of where to go in Mahébourg and surroundings, and helped me with my car. Oyima made a great breakfast and made own recommendations on activities. I would definitely recommend staying with them!

Poor

The staff seemed nice. Unfortunately I mistakenly paid for my stay in cash upon check out without remembering that the amount had already been withdrawn from my credit card. Upon my return to Italy, I contacted booking for being charged back. The manager denied that any of his staff had taken the amount. So either it's unfair, or he can't trust his staff.
