Short break in Cirencester.

The owner met us at the house. She was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to leave our cars earlier than planned.

Great location, pretty exterior

The location was great, nice and quiet but central to the town. The house was a good size and had plenty of parking. Pretty outdoor area.

The house generally could have been cleaner on arrival and there was no real drawer space for clothes. Property looked a little tired

Fabulous location

The location, welcome, house

It was very cold when we arrived and could have been cleaned. It is also missing the instructions for the cooker which are crucial if you want to use the grill (make sure the clock is working!)

A fab New Years break!

We had such a wonderful time staying here over New Years. We went with our son (aged 5) and our friends with their daughter (aged 7). The location of the house was fantastic, just a 5 minute walk into Cirencester which was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Anne was there when we arrived and welcomed us and was really friendly. The house was clean with all the amenities we needed and the supermarket was about an 8 minute walk to get to, so easy for us to pop and get some supplies when we arrived. It really was a lovely, relaxing weekend and so nice to be in the centre of the cotswolds, able to enjoy some lovely pubs and beautiful scenery! The beds were comfy too and the road was relatively quiet (just a couple of new years partiers passing in the early hours)

The only downside I would say is the stairs, which curve round so are thin on one side of the stair - not a problem really as long as you're sensible, and the children were fine on them - I however did fall down them (my own fault as I was looking at my phone whilst walking down the stairs). Just something to be mindful of if you have small children.

A very nice comfortable place to stay within short walking distance of the town and amenities

Location was excellent for the town. The cottage was very comfortable and owner had supplied tea, coffee etc. Which was a bonus. The PDF told us all we needed to know. Unfortunately I missed out the download on WiFi password and we contacted the owner who was very gracious. Owner also allowed us to check out an hour later when contacted which was very much appreciated by my older relatives.

Unfortunately my relatives came from different parts of the country in 2 cars so only 1 car could be parked on the property which we knew about in advance of course. In our case not a problem as I live in Cirencester and other car could be parked outside my property . Could be a problem for some people if have to park in car parks . Also not a problem for us but should point out that stairs could be a bit steep for people with mobility problems .

Would have been great had the property been warm.

Nice property, spacious, comfortable and good location.

We were warned that the boiler wasn’t working prior to our arrival and told that there would be electric heaters so that we would be warm and comfortable. They never arrived even after contacting the host and being told they would be dropped off again. Also, when I stay somewhere I expect the glassware, crockery and towels to be clean.

Beautiful mews house in great location. Needs a good deep clean.

It is a beautiful property in a great central location. Parking is free, secure (behind a gate, no lock) and immediately in front of the property. The kitchen is relatively well equipped.

The place needs a really good deep clean. There were cobwebs everywhere (mainly up high) and the furniture clearly hasn't been moved to be cleaned behind for a long time. The mattresses didn't seem to be very good quality, although I must admit despite this, I did sleep well. The shower lacked heat and power, but we replaced the shower head with the hand held shower head which resulted in a powerful, hot shower. No towels provided. The door on the twin room won't close due to the bed being in the way of the door. With both twin beds pushed together, the door will close.

Fabulous location

The owner was present when we arrived. Otherwise we were told where to find the keys. This property is in a great location - my only worry is that if I recommend it too highly - it won't be available when I need it !!

Excellent stay in an excellent and central location.

The location was very central and perfect for exploring Cirencester, it was also very close to the RIAT. The house was comfy and clean. Comfy beds and great shower.

The place was great for the price. I can't think of anything that wasn't great.

The house was not bad and it was spacious.

For what I spent, I expected better service: there was not a towel for each bathroom (as indicated when booking), then in the house I did not find the hairdryer (as expected from the announcement), also in one of the bathrooms the fan did not work. In the dresser we found other people's clothes.

Location was good nice interior but both kitchen and bathroom were a little worse for wear

There was obvious dirt in lots of places, bathroom mirror filthy it really gave the impression of not being cleaned which was disappointing Parking should have been good but due to lack of consideration we had to park right alongside our house, there were 4 cars there for the 2 other properties and a fifth tried to come in and park on the Saturday

The location was great and the size of the house was good.

The host did not communicate well. we arrived at the correct time but no one was there. I called 2 hours before arrival but no answer so i left a message, she didn't get back to me! when we arrived at the house no one was there and the host was not answering her phone. I had to call booking.com for help, they managed to contact her and they said that she would be with us within 30mins - she wasn't. I called her again, she answered this time and told me what number cottage we were staying in and that the door was open - I wish we had been informed of this before!!!!! The cottage wasn't very clean!

Wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy

Location

On arrival of a 4 day stay: Broken glass in cupboard, mould in shower, very visible stains on sofas and carpet. One toilet seat broken. No baking trays or baking dishes. Badly fitted front door lock. One sash window latch broken in one of the bedrooms throughout our whole visit so 20cm gap (late October). Reported multiple times to the Booking contact. Gas boiler had error message one morning, so no heating or hot water luckily we could restart it after many tries by the end of that day, but again no response from Booking contact. Accidents happen but the attitude towards getting them fixed did not meet our expectations.

Lovely break away in beautiful surroundings.

A lovely house in an impressive courtyard. Very home from home. Lovely comfortable beds and had most things we needed.

The microwave was very temperamental and couldn't see the numbers for the cooker.
