The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was really comfortable. The atmosphere was great, and we were made to feel very welcome. The location was perfect for our requirements.

These are small points but there was only one cup in our room and no teaspoon. A sink in the room would have been a big help, as would a separate toilet to use if someone else was having a shower. There were no alcohol free beer options and no pen for the guest book!

The property is very good value and quite centrally located. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly.

The bathroom was shabby and the whole place felt a bit rough around the edges.

Bed was comfortable. Electric shower worked well with hot water straight away.

The decor needed modernising in the room and the bathroom. Wallpaper hanging off the wall in the bathroom and the ceiling in the bedroom. The dog came to meet me barking each time I walked into the bar. The outside of the hotel needs painting/renovating just to make it look more attractive.
