The location to visit the westside of the Lofoten.
Spacious rorbuer for 3.
Small kitchen facilities to cook every day.

Spacious and reasonably comfortable. Location is good and great bathroom facilities.
Main issue is the outside management of the property system. While they are responsive it is very uncomfortable that a single thing cannot be solved on location. It is fine to self-check-in, but if the stove does not work it is unhelpful to receive a myriad of instructions that are applicable to other apartments in the complex and you just give up after a while. It should not be that hard for someone to come check it, or at least inquire if their instructions were helpful and if things work now. Typically outsourcing situation. Also if you book an accommodation with sauna it is expected for the sauna to work. Not just to get a passive response that as far as they know it does not work. Unacceptable for this kind of money. Also the kitchen equipment would benefit from a basic 50 EUR investment, it is livable but quite sad.

There are doors that divide the house in two parts and the noises were so loud it felt like the other guests were in the room with us

Staff was helpful via messages, but there is no one present at reception.
Shower was hot.
It takes a lot for me to write a bad review, but this property was deficient in so many respects. We arrived after biking all day in the cold rain and the place was cold and smelly (roach spray?) . To pay nearly $600 for such a dump is almost fraudulent.
The three bedrooms were up (essentially) a ladder…very dangerous. I realize this is part of the rorbuer concept, but guests that have any mobility issues should not book. Moreover, this should have been disclosed in the listing.
The beds were narrow and uncomfortable. The rest of the furniture was like Goodwill quality.
Linens/towels essentially like dishrags.
My husband and I noted that this property is barely above Youth Hostel level.
Additionally (this is not the fault of the hotel) , there are very few dining options in Ballstad.
The property owners clearly are making no attempt to upkeep or maintain the property or buildings. The onsite manager seems to be doing her best, but the investment is not there.
