The bush settling. The attention to the finer details. Wonderful bed, and beautiful furnishings, flowers and so well equipped.

Great spot high up over the town of Coromandel. Loving spot in the bush.

We arrived late at night in the pouring rain. Signage was good on the road up to the lodge, however there was no signage at the actual lodge. We drove passed and ended up way up an overgrown road in the bush. Thankfully the people at the end of the road were friendly and pointed us in the right direction. Was a bit spooky.

The location high up the hill is stunning, whilst the actual lodge is beautifully designed with an emphasis on natural products and peacefulness. The communal areas are delightful, whilst your private room has everything you need. Kerry was very friendly and shared her "locals" knowledge with us.

We had no problems with the narrow private road in our Toyota wagon. It was also good to have no TV.
