We paid for the view and we were not disappointed.
Will be hard to find somewhere else with a better view. An absolute joy to wake up in this villa.
The bedding was very comfortable, and the property was very clean.
Having a washing machine was convenient.
The location is fantastic, a very nice walk to Fira
And Maria the property manager was very responsive via text messages, she was also here to welcome us on arrival, she helped us to arrange car rental and she was happy to assist with anything
We found easy parking just down the road
The outdoor tub must be really nice in the summer days unfortunately too cold in October to enjoy it :)
It’s not suitable for longer stays (more than 3-4 nights)
The kitchen equipment is very basic, you cannot cook in there, no spatulas, no oven. Not a place to stay and cook which is a shame because eating out in Santorini is very expensive.
There’s no dryer for clothes but the washing machine fortunately can dry, it just takes time.
Also I found it a bit strange that you can’t really look after the villa yourself for example there is no broom if you want to keep the place clean and tidy.
You have to pay an extra 20€ for cleaning service.

We had the best week in the Windmill. What an amazing location. It is right in the middle of everything but also somehow seems so secluded and private. A 2 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and lots of lovely eateries nearby. Also a 10 minute walk into Fira. You get the good of the sun at all times of the day due to the wrap around balcony. The villa itself is so clean and comfortable. We didn’t realise there was a washing machine which was useful. A lovely coffee machine was also there.
The plunge pool was great to cool off and the sunbeds very comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfast coffees at the table every morning. And there was a fantastic, unbearable view of the sunset.
Maria did a lovely job checking us in and was there to message should we need it. We also got access to a hotel once we checked out as our flight was not until later at night. We decided after 1 night of being there that we would be back!
The water from shower was not very warm

Stunning views, fantastic location. Had perfect view of the sunrise in the morning and the sun setting in the evening. Location avoids the heavy crowds of Fira and Oia but in no way compromises on the views (which I believe are better here) or selection of restaurants which were great. Maria gave us a great introduction on arrival and was on hand should we need assistance during the stay.

Eşsiz Santorini manzarası ve kendine has tarzı ile değişik bir konsept yapıda konakladık. Her şey oldukça güzeldi. Ev sahibi Mrs Maria oldukça ilgiliydi. Bir çok konuda ve ada hakkında bize faydalı bilgiler verdi.
Üst kat odadaki banyo çok küçük ve hareket imkanı oldukça kısıtlı idi. Ayrıca mutfak malzemeleri daha fazla olabilirdi.
