Such a warm welcome, thank you Allison! Lovely, cozy wooden “cottage-feel”. Great to have the panini warmer, washer and dryer, microwave, toaster and kettle. Bed was comfortable and the small bathroom was so clean and nice to have the heated floor. Well located to do the Whanganui River Adventure.
Ideally, it would be nice to have a hot plat with one frying pan and pot.

Very clean, close to mountain and national park. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The main area heating broke during our stay, and the hosts were very helpful in providing alternative heating.
The breakfast was a bit disappointing, with the continental breakfast consisting of tinned fruit and defrosted bread and croissant. The accommodation felt somewhat dated, and was not a comfortable space to spend time. The bedrooms do not have heating apart from an electric blanket. Bathroom was very small (but functional and clean). You can hear the hosts in their house next door through the wall.
