Good location (5 minute walk from the main pedestrian area with restaurants/cafes, bus stop for südtirol buses to Lago di Braies/Prato Piazza right outside). Staff were kind and friendly. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with ample storage space for clothes and excellent water pressure in the shower. Room soundproofing was good (could hear minimal hallway noise). Wifi in the room (1st floor) worked very well. Good-quality breakfast spread (pastries, bread, meat, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, fruit, cereals, yogurt). Nice outdoor seating area which is lovely in good weather.
Pillows were very thin and uncomfortable. Breakfast generally does not change from day to day if you have a longer stay. 20-minute walk to main bus stop for Dolomitibus (Cortina Scuole), and going uphill at the end of a day of hiking back to the hotel was exhausting. Bedside lamps were very flimsy (shades easy to accidentally knock over). Overall, the hotel felt disproportionately expensive for what we paid, but Cortina d'Ampezzo is very expensive in general (especially in peak season).

We found couple of hair in the bathroom, apparently it wasn’t cleaned well enough.
