We had an ocean view suite which was amazing , we ate in the buffet restaurant which was above average and the food in UMI restaurant was fantastic and some of the best we have ever eaten in Barbados .
The pool and the limited space around it was a disappointment in relation to the size of the hotel and the number of guests , not enough sun beds and felt crowded . The pool was dirty . No pleasant under cover outdoor seating areas for the evening so when it rained there was nowhere to sit and enjoy a cocktail or drink .We only found the one main bar other than the swim up bar which we didn’t use .The main bar serviced the beach and restaurant’s unless you managed to get one of the few seats at the bar there wasn’t anywhere convivial to sit unless on the beach
