This is simply an incredible hotel on a working winery. The grounds are luxurious, with vineyards and the hotel’s own vegetable garden where seasonal produce is grown. It’s a true oasis of peace and the quietest place we have ever stayed.
Since the hotel has its own winery, you can book a wine tasting. We were short on time, so we enjoyed a bottle of their wine in our room instead.
The rooms are gorgeous: spacious, beautifully decorated, with cozy little balconies. There is also a large lounge, where it was lovely to spend the evening playing board games. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind.
The breakfasts were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, and the omelette and coffee were perfect. Everything is local and comes from the hotel’s own garden.
It’s the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Only one night was available for our dates, but we would have gladly stayed longer.
There are absolutely no downsides. We have nothing negative to say and wouldn’t change a thing!

Our stay at Relais Tenuta Sant Caterina was exceptional. The estate is absolutely stunning, with beautifully maintained gardens that make every walk around the property a pleasure. The peaceful, serene atmosphere creates the perfect place to relax and unwind.
One of the highlights is the breathtaking view across the surrounding valley, with rolling vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see. Whether enjoying breakfast, an evening drink, or simply taking in the scenery, the setting is unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a place that combines elegance, tranquility, and the beauty of the Piedmont countryside, Relais Tenuta Sant Caterina is hard to beat. We left feeling completely refreshed and would gladly return.
Our suite only had a bathtub and no walk in shower.
