The rooms are not soundproof (there was a party nearby until late hours, but that can be singular event)

I stay at the hotel once a year when on Western Uganda. Stayed 2 days before and this on the way back. It is a lovely oasis. Very comfortable good food. The staff are excellent, the location is great. Can sit on the balcony overlooking the lake and lawn. I just enjoy my stay

I have been there before the location is ok near the centre and is large and on a fair bit of land but lake is more of a pond and has a swimming pool
It can be dark and dingy in places and still has 70s en-suites coffee rather than avocado. Staff not always helpful they tried to give me a rack rate room rather than the room i booked on Booking until I insisted. Breakfast I was one of two people there and largely ignored and staff not helpful and when I went swimming they tried to stop me going in because they had not got round to cleaning it it was nearly 10.00 am. This is not uncommon with previous experiences there. So, ok but could be better.
