The location was great, right in the center of Winchcombe and was right on the Cotswold Way. And the staff were very helpful.
This is a very old building, so the rooms are tight. Also the shower water situation is awful - there's no way to get appropriate temperature water to bathe in, it was either scalding or freezing, no in between. And weirdly, our room was also the fire exit, so technically anyone could remove a small plastic cover on the door handle and enter our room at any point which felt like a safety/privacy risk.

Nice bar area and friendly staff, building is full of character.
Needs some TLC, looks very tired in places, my room needs painting and the bathroom updating too. Shabby looking paintwork. The Annex building could be really nice if it had some money invested. Breakfast was overcooked and had to wait a long time, several items on the menu not available.
