Could have been excellent !

CHARMING HOUSE BUT... do read further what need to be amended and or corrected ! Then the reason it is averaged somehow from excellent to passable.

Lack of answer when the first night we suffered a smoke alarm that made all of us awake from 6 am and it took us half an hour to stop it ...same again but 3 minutes only the third night - despite s change of batteries, Also the insulation is really bad and oil-heaters and heat-pump are just enough during the night ! Final I started to cough because of the carpets and their tiny bugs that make people sensitive to them to cough now and again and again !

Convenient, spacious place to stay in picton

Close to activities and shops. Plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen and laundry.

Could have been cleaner. Needed airing and cupboards and whiteware needed airing.

Money for old rope!

Not an awful lot really.

Why on earth would you, as a property owner, not get the basics sorted before you added the flashy bits. You either want guests to cook or not, why only do half a job? There were no instruction booklets and I couldn't get the oven to work, so no way of grilling food! The recliner chair didn't work! There were at least two light bulbs missing in the bedrooms. The bathroom door catch catches on the towel rail, which is very loud at night. One bedroom door didn't close at all. The lawn needed mowing, the appearance of the property overall was quite disappointing. No instruction as to what to do with the keys on departure. Loud party noise from the neighbours on the Friday night we stayed was very annoying, but not the hosts responsibility.

The location was perfect, right in town. it accommodated our big family perfectly with enough space and seating. Very clean and comfortable. The owner was lovely and so easy to communicate with :)

Beautiful place, with everything to make a stay away from home feel like home, plenty of room for those bigger families and close to amenities.

Thank you so much for a lovely stay.Great little house with everything you need and newly renovated.Fantastic location.5 minute walk to town.Lovely backyard perfect for end of the day gin and tonic in the sun.

Good

House was neat, nice and close to town. Plenty of room for our family and enough too when friends visited. All rooms well appointed.

House could do with some maintenance, broken taped up window in one bedroom and bbq wasn't in working order.

It was very clean, very comfortable for a family and it was in a great location. Marie was a great host. We would definitely stay there again.

The pillows were like bricks. There wasn't anything in the kitchen that we could use in the oven and therefore the oven was useless. The pan (skillet) that is in the kitchen needs to be replaced. It's so dented in the center that it only cooks on the sides of the pan. Also useless if you're making pancakes or eggs.

Would stay again but not in colder months of the year.

Lovely quiet spot and close to the shops.

It was bitterly cold in Picton both nights, down to 1 degree with bitter frosts and we struggled to stay warm despite heaters in every room. Believe the house would benefit from a heat pump in the lounge and electric blankets on beds. There was however lots of blankets. Did appreciate that our host had turned on heaters in all rooms for our arrival however.

Kitchen well equipped and modern Fantastic location to Picton & Marina

Shortage of coat hangers,hanging space & mirrors. Parts of house and deck area felt a bit tired

Just lovely, bright cheery decor, clean, pretty and well kept for the age of the house.

Perhaps a can of fly spray would help. We purchased one and left it in the cupboard for the next users.
