This is a real home stay with a brahman family. The house and the rooms are very simple, but neat and clean, with a lovely courtyard. The family is lovely and very helpful with organising tours and extras.
We booked 2 rooms for 1 night, together for less than 1.000 Rupies.
As the rooms are amazingly cheap and the family is very nice, please don't forget to make a generous donation for the family's shrine.
The rooms had only tiny windows, but still big enough to get some fresh air.

Lovely old traditional temple home stay on a quiet street near all the sites. Sunny terrace and rooftop. I had a marvelous room and would be happy to return for a longer stay in the future. Comfortable and quiet - fellow guests a delight. Try Hummusiya and The Arty Vegan - on a quiet road nearby and be sure to enjoy the sunset on the lake.
