Große schöne Wohnung zum kleinen Preis

- die Lage ist prima… man kann so Einiges fußläufig erreichen - die Ausstattung war komfortabel - Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür - sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet - sogar für Regentage wurden genügend Mittel zur Verfügung gestellt

- ich kann wirklich nichts Negatives sagen

Overall an amazing stay with exceedingly kind owners, neat and clean place and accessible facilities such as supermarket

The owners of the property were exceptionally kind and thoughtful. They greeted us when we checked in and provided us with tons of information about the area and kyoto, all in english! The place itself was outstandingly neat, clean and organised. Especially having an airco in every room and the washing machine was awesome. The owner of the property introduced my son to his Nintendo Family, which he very much enjoyed playing when we would get back from our excursions outside. There was also a massaging chair which was awesome! The place itself was very accessible by car and had tons of restaurants in the neighbourhood. The 7-eleven and Familymart were a 5 minute walk, which was perfect. Would totally recommend this place to anyone who is okay with staying in a suburb of kyoto

Very comfortable with beautiful people around🙏🙏

More than property it was more like a home (away from home). The house was fitted with all necessary aspects to live comfortably and my parents who joined us loved the place. Jun-san, Aki-san and Hina-san gave us the hospitality which we’ll never forget. Thank you so much for your kind gesture and service provided during our short stay.

Very nice stay compared to a small hotel room.

The property was nice and clean and the host was very friendly and welcoming. We had everything we needed for a nice stay. We enjoyed the vending machine outside and the close walk to 711.

The beds are a bit springy and not too comfortable.

Perfect apartment with the most wonderful hosts

It was great arriving at this lovely apartment after a week of living in a very small hotel room in Tokyo. We were only 2 friends traveling so we got a bedroom each but I can see this place being perfect for larger families too. Jun, Aki and their daughter were wonderful hosts and so helpful and responsive to all questions we had. We're so glad we got a chance to chat with them for a while and learn a little more about their home country, Kyoto and their neighborhood during our stay here. Even if you don't get a chance to spend some time with them they have prepared fantastic recommendations for everything you could need, instructions and guides for all appliances and directions for how to get to popular destinations in the city and hidden gems near the apartment. Restaurants, onsens, shrines, grocery stores, public transport and other tips that were really useful. This apartment has everything you need and more. For us this was the perfect place to start our vacation after a week of work in Tokyo. It's quiet, cozy and gives you a little distance from the busiest tourist areas but still with easy reach to most places in Kyoto and Osaka. We wish we could have stayed longer and we would love to come back again.

Perfect, comfortable and love to stay for longer if I could.

Jun has been very accommodating from the time I had made my booking earlier this year until our arrival. The place is very spacious for us as a family of 5, very neat and you have everything you need. Perfect spot to base your stay and go around Kyoto.

Exceptional

The large space worked well for our family of 6. We were initially worried about staying away from the popular tourist attractions but this corner of town ended up being our favourite, all the beautiful forest temples, easy access to Arashiyama etc. It is a ten minute walk to the nearest station for access to the other parts of town but we are big walkers and didn't mind. Jun and Aki were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to help make our trip run smoothly.

The comforters twisted a bit easily in their covers, the beds were otherwise very comfortable.

The apartment is a great size. Especially for larger families or groups. It is close to public transport - the bus stop is super close and the train station is only a 9 minute walk. Walking distance to grocery store, restaurants, Cafe and bakery. The instructions and suggestions that Jun and Aki have provided are amazing. Really detailed with maps as well.

We were limited on things to do around the property with kids, that was within walking distance. We probably would have picked somewhere closer to Kyoto station so we had more options.

Kyoto winter Saizen Matsumuro experience

Our group stayed on the 2nd floor with 2 bedrooms, a living room, a small kitchen area and a family space area. The owner, junya-san, could speak basic english and was really accommodating and friendly, he had guides for the equipment in the apartment which includes a washing machine that doubles as a dryer, a toaster oven and a microwave, as well as instructions on garbage sorting. He also had guides for kyoto in general in different languages and how to get to the apartment. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place and we honestly couldn't ask for more, the beds were comfortable the apartment was spacious, we had a TV and there were movies that could be watched using the DVD player. On the first floor there was even a 100 yen vending machine for drinks and if need be the convenience store was just a 5 minute walk away from the apartment. It was like we were living in japan and not just visiting it, we regretted not staying here longer and if given the chance we would definitely stay here again if we were to come back to kyoto.

We don't have any negative things to say about this apartment.

Great house to stay during a visit to Kyoto

The house was very clean and comfortable, free parking on-ste. Hosts are kind and willing to assist with all the questions even before we arrive Kyoto. All the equipments have Engliah instruction, very helpful!

A perfect spot to stay for families wishing to explore Kyoto.

Parking was on site and the apartment was both fully furnished and fully kitted out. Had we wanted to cook (rather than eat out), this would have been possible due to the fully functional kitchen. There were two full bedrooms with a total of five twin-sized beds, perfect for families. Additionally, I was impressed by the amount of effort and level of detail in the documentation provided by our host regarding the functioning of every piece of equipment in the house as well as transportation, provisioning and exploring the surrounding area. Our hosts Jun and Aki were outstanding - friendly, accommodating and responsive. The WIFI was fast, the beds were comfortable, the massage chair was a blessing following the 40+ miles of walking around Kyoto. We never got a chance to use the TV, stereo, laptop or most of the electronics provided, but the fact that they were there with associated instructions for use provided in multiple languages was incredible. I did have to play the FAMICOM though - I haven't seen those classic Nintendo games in years, and it was fun to play while I drank my morning coffee and waited for my family to get ready to go.

I have no negative comments with regards to this property or it's proprietors. The attention to detail, cleanliness and the comprehensive documentation put this apartment apart from other properties. Is it a palace? No, it is a normal apartment. There are many apartments you can choose from, but I would suggest that this one is superior because of the people who operate and maintain it - when we return to Kyoto, we will definitely be staying here again.

beautiful area, comfortable house, great host

The host was very kind and they respond quickly to requests. The house was big enough for a family of 4 and they even have an extra tatami room. There was a massage chair, heater/ac in all rooms, guide books and descriptions for how to use appliances in Japanese, recommended places around, parking space, complete amenities, washing machine and dryer, extra beddings. We had a very comfortable stay in a peaceful area.
