We, family of 5, only stayed for one night at the hostel. The facilities were clean, modern and spacious. The breakfast was plenty and everyone was able to fill the belly. The location is just outside of town on the way to the Drachensee (lake) but if you wanted you could walk it in about 20 minutes (without kids). We did think of towels, but if you had forgotten your own, the hostel has towels available.
The weather was hot and the rooms aren't air-conditioned. That's why we brought 2 little table fans which worked alright. Also, there was only 2 little hooks in the separated shower room (shared showers & toilets) for your towel and clothes, which made it a bit hard to shower 3 kids and myself at the same time.
My husband is Australian, I am German...it didn't feel like the hostel is catering so much for international tourists as there is nothing available in English (nothing that I have seen).

Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich.
Das DZ sehr sauber, ein modernes Dusch-Bad mit Waschbecken und WC. Gute Hinweise zum Lüften des Bades.
Frühstück ist sehr vielseitig und sehr gut. Großer heller Frühstücksraum mit tollem Angebot für Familien und übrige Gäste.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Mir persönlich hat ein Schwarztee gefehlt; es gab nur gesunde Tees, ist aber auch ok.
