Near the cruise port, beach, convention center, Strand shopping, Moody Gardens and restaurants. Enjoy the sea breeze from your private balcony. Cook and eat out on the patio below,providing space to unwind. Just six blocks from the beach. Close to restaurants. Moody Gardens 10 minutes away. Private driveway can accommodate trailers. Large playground, ball park, and sand volleyball court 4 blocks away. San Luis Convention Center less than 1 mile away. Surveillance devices are located facing the front stairway and back stairway for your protection and ours. They record video and audio.

Really nice accommodation for the seven of us. We stayed prior to our cruise and it was an awesome place. The only thing I would recommend is larger soft blankets, although being in Texas you don’t usually need blankets!

Smartly updated two bedroom house not far from the seawall. Very clean and fresh. Great for couple or smaller group. Two bathrooms were a plus. We would stay again without hesitation.

We had an absolute wonderful time staying at this house. A close walk to the Seawall, beach, water and plenty of restaurants. The house is well stocked, communication was excellent and the neighbors was quiet. would highly recommend staying here.

Super clean home with friendly, fast communication with the host. Location is close to groceries, restaurants, etc, but located on a pretty busy road with not much to view from the balconies. Maybe this is a common thing for Galveston cottages, but the big drawback for us was that all the windows were shuttered at least halfway or all the way from the outside. Luckily we weren’t in the house much during the day. The house is clean and painted brightly, but if you want to let light in, this wouldn’t be the house for you. Otherwise, 5 stars!

Overall, the property was great! Very cute, updated and clean! Our only issue was finding it in the dark. Our map was indicating the property was in the prior block and it was very tough to see any addresses in dark. Had to call property manager, but she was very helpful! Overall, five stars! She also allowed us a late checkout before we left on cruise!

The location was perfect for our trip to visit Moody Gardens and to the Strand. The house was nice, clean and had everything we needed.

We stayed here (myself, my husband, our 9, 8 and almost 2 year old) for a weekend. It was a great location for the beach, restaurants, the pleasure pier, and Moody Gardens. The house was so lovely, had wonderful amenities and was exactly as described. The communication with our host, Ruth, was wonderful as well. We would definitely stay here again!

The roomy property had everything we needed for us and our daughter’s family. Tv’s in every room, great kitchen, separate dining, two big baths, and a large living area. Loved the older home made modern. The price is very reasonable. Beach is walkable. Clean, no smelly carpet and comfortable beds and couch. We will definitely look for this cottage again.

Very cozy, clean, well equipped with all necessities/amenities of home, my gran kids enjoy the 2nd room with the parentals, was a perfect fit-we ALL enjoyed the stay and will consider staying here again in the future!!!!

Cute house; VERY clean; hosts were GREAT! My only comment I wish it would have been able to have a bit more natural light coming in to the dining and kitchen. However, certainly did not take away from our fantastic trip. I would highly recommend this property!!!!!!

I like that the house did have a historical feel and was big and spacious. There was some construction going on right behind the house but not really a bother to us. We will be looking to book this house again on our future stays in Galveston if available.

A group of 3 of us moms whose daughters competed at High School Nationals in Galveston rented this property for 2 nights. The competition was at the Galveston Convention Center. This house is located perfectly between the Convention Center and The Strand where there is great food and shopping. We had a very short drive to either. So very happy with the location. The property was very clean and comfortable. Ruth was easy to contact and communicate with.

The "house" was more of a duplex, with unit underneath, had that been disclosed at the time of booking, I would have found a diff property. Road construction out of the front door, jack hammers, and all of the loud noises that accompany that trade. House was clean.

Adorable two bedroom older home. Very clean and comfortable. Ruth was amazing and checked in while we were staying even offered a longer check out which was very nice. We enjoyed the deck, comfy beds, kitchen was well equip and the large shower heads with hot water felt so good after a day on the beach. Would definitely stay again. Only reason I gave 4 stars on location was the road construction in front of house. Which was by no means the owners responsibility and I was aware in the instructions from the owner ahead of time, but that looks like it will be done soon. Just plan on it if you will be staying in the near future.

We loved the house. Ruth was a wonderful host who was right there with answers and help. Someone had taken the light bulbs from the table lamps and one of the tv remotes and she had those replaced right away. The house was perfect for our needs. They were doing road work in front of the house so there was an issue with parking but no noise until Monday morning at 6:30 AM when they began. Ruth made sure we were aware that was going on before our arrival. I would highly recommend this property

Clean and quiet. Nice location, a couple blocks from the water and some good places to eat. Good base for those looking to explore Galveston. We're a family of 6 and it was very comfortable.

Cute cottage by the sea
Ruth and Mike were amazing hosts! Both stopped by to check in on us and to make sure we had everything we needed. I enjoyed meeting them. Not often you get to meet your hosts. House was very spacious and exactly what they listed. I would definitely stay at this location again in the future.

Charming home
We enjoyed our stay here at the Cottage. The pictures depict it accurately. When the home was remodeled they did good work but still left a lot of the original parts of the home, it is so charming. I loved it. Very close to the beach , a little too far to walk to with coolers and beach gear. We drove to it in like 5 minutes or less. Sits in a good area of Galveston. We were close to lots of attractions and activities.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The kids are already asking to go back. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and had everything we needed during our stay. The kids loved having a TV all to themselves. Everything in the house was extremely clean so we felt comfortable putting our toddler down to play.
