Ich habe hauptsächlich eine günstige Unterkunft zum Übernachten in der näheren Umgebung von Holzgerlingen gesucht. Frühstück wurde nicht angeboten. Dafür war eine gut eingerichtete Küchenzeile vorhanden, in der ich mich sehr gut selber versorgen konnte. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren dafür im Ort Altdorf gut vorhanden. Die Unterkunft selber war sehr geschmackvoll und gepflegt eingerichtet.

Lovely quiet place with everything you need for your stay. The outside seating area is particularly nice. Host is very kind and helpful.
Cannot comment on what it is like to share the space since I was lucky to have the place to myself for my stay.

Man hat sich sofort wohl gefühlt. Sauberkeit und Ordnung wird hier groß geschrieben. Die Unterkunft hat einen gewissen Charme. Die "Herbergsmutter" ist freundlich...aufgeschlossen und hilfsbereit in allen Fragen. So wie alle Mitglieder des Hauses.
...es gab keinen Grund für Beanstandungen.

Silent place, all equipment that was needed; fridge, kettle, tea, cutlery, spacious room for one person. Communicative and responsive host. I slept well there, but I stayed alone in the whole appartment.
The heating was let's say "acceptable". It wasn't cold, but it wasn't very warm. You don't freeze, but it started to be chilly at the early mornings (March). The parking was manageable with the help of the host, otherwise it's nearly impossible.
Anyway, the whole surrounding area is very strange or let's say, unique. Random big tracks or harvesters appearing on the street sometimes at night. It's full of workshops, car repair saloons, second hand cars waiting for something. These cars and trailers occupy all the parking space, even streets. And the lights are not on during the evening nor night. It's like the town council spends all the money on big parties with expensive alcohol or the business around makes money laundering.
